Just because he is not so complicated that even with Russian koryachitsya online obuchalku do. Although a couple of courses with CDs I had somewhere. But the sense from them at a penny. Take who need better textbooks in pdf format, more useful ...

I will say one thing - my advice to you (!), audio is good, but without knowledge of grammar exercises Smarck. I was 5 years ago, before you go walking in the courses in the Czech House in the Czech Republic Fucik in Moscow on the territory ch.posolstva. Teacher there from MGIMO and taught there cool textbook Shirokova. This textbook is still considered the best (!) - This is not advertising in MGIMO future "diplomats" are still on his language study. everything else purchased (dictionaries, phrasebooks and other books), it was money thrown away on the wind. But, there is but - as always teach literary language, and coming here I could not and a couple of phrases to link. But the constant communication with the Czechs was very helpful, great thanks to them. And do not be offended by them when they tell you that you have a strong foreign accent, and they do not understand you, just try to listen to them and try to pronounce the phrase again and correctly. you turn out, not the first time since the second. good luck!

I also want to add a couple of lines in the submitted audio course - a terrible accent at the announcers, download and ... I was shocked! and more - the Czechs have long not use certain expressions that suggest they learn, they say, is easier and shorter.

I have a general approach to his presentation. Similar is the only learned at Radio.Praha. It is not only to feed the grammar, but also in sociolinguistics, ie, explain examples of the use of expressions + comments in terms of life situations. Textbook Shirokova created for students and not suitable for studying the Czech language ordinary people. Georg, so do not be encouraged by the suffering of the poor in 90% of the textbook Shirokova they do not fit.

2 Lovermann - I meant it as a very good textbook for the study of grammar, that is the literary language. as everything else - full r ... on. not everyone has the opportunity to stay home and listen to the radio for example, or not everyone is able to remember the radio was the lesson of the course ... of course, the coolest way to learn the language - immersion. and then, met a lot of people, our compatriots who are here for 5-10 years and more, someone finally can not speak Czech, but someone does not speak correctly. But in the very beginning of our immigration, Czechs praised for correct Czech and gave examples of the ignorance of those ones who in 10 years here. Naturally it's nice to listen. but the emphasis will, can, over time it will become less noticeable, but time will tell. In the meantime, we confused with Slovakia. I think that all depends on the person ...

and a couple of tips for learning a language - forget about the soft sign "b", not quite sure :) , About the letter "E" for you would now like the letter "E", the letter "T" - should be pronounced firmly, without the usual attendant, and mitigation. try to find it in their textbooks ... unlikely. and more "Ř" - not always pronounced RYE (RZHE ...) in some words pronounced RSCHI (IRE ...) well, for example: řeknout - rzheknout and příslušenství - prschislushenstvi. it is necessary to listen carefully the pronunciation of the Czechs, then it will be immediately clear.

and a little more, even in the transcriptions here I see the most glaring word LZE / NELZE - No need to say and soft sign of hardness!! That is - LZE / NELZE.
it's that simple advice. I am not a teacher and do not pretend. just share my view with what he experienced.

Hey-hey! People! You do what can I say? I can say with certainty that outside the Czech Republic can learn Czech! My family and I spent a lot of time to find a decent course or teacher in Moscow. Yes, the courses at the embassy - probably one of the best we have, I admit, but also especially good to call them, too, is ... to what you learn there in a year (classes 2 times per week), in Prague - it is 1 month. But at the same time and in Prague there are lots of not \ very \ best courses. So I advise you not to waste time searching, and money to attempt to learn something, and immediately go to the intensive courses at Charles University. (Www.ujop.cuni.cz) where there are lots of learning options, the most common - the summer school. Classes last for 1 month (July or August), in 3 pairs per day + afternoon cultural program. More useful and interesting program, you will not find! Is a proven fact! + They provide a hostel for the duration of training. Prices quite adequate.
From the textbook: Shirokov - too abstruse, valid for high schools, with the language ... not sure what all this should be ... I like \ you want to speak Czech \ - enough grammar in accessible language, from vocabulary books - choose the Czech authors, and English / Czech (Czech as a foreign language), as a variant of \ Step by step \ ... All of our audio courses, type \ Visa \ - frankly, polnue bullshit! Do not waste your money! Very useful book - \ 400 czech verbs \ (400 Czech verbs).
But in general I strongly advise to watch TV, movies, Czech, listen to the radio - excellent training, not straining.
I myself spent about 5 years to understand all (with adequate information to find the truth and it was hard), tried all possible types of learning ... as a result of 1,5 years of training (in total), studied in Prague and taught the language to the level of B2.

Elissa + million. I also advise everyone to talk more with the local population, just as language goes quickly up the hill ... the rest is nonsense ... and that I even wrote a few times here on the site and are always talking and all ... but the truth in the first instance, do not pretend to)))
